This session explores child sex trafficking through a victim-centered, trauma-informed lens, utilizing a handful of real-life Traffick911 case studies and multiple videos. Attendees learn how children are targeted, the key vulnerabilities of at-risk youth, red flags to watch for, reporting guidelines, and trauma-informed care approaches to working with victims. Gain an understanding of pimp manipulation, recruitment, and power/control dynamics, as well as insight into societal drivers of sex trafficking.
