Ethical discussions are an important part of healthcare. This session begins with an overview of ethical principles and frameworks. As a member of the International Continence Society’s Ethics Committee, the speaker shares recent work of publishing a Best Practices White Paper on ethics in the care of the older adult. This work was authored by a multidisciplinary international group and was a monumental undertaking. The session rounds out with ethics in healthcare from a public health perspective.
