Naomi Haas MD

Naomi Haas is the leader of the prostate and kidney cancer medical oncology programs at the Abramson Cancer Center (ACC) at The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She is a medical oncologist with a broad background in patient care and basic science training applied to clinical trial development. Naomi was supported by an NIH postdoctoral training grant, an NIH K08 Clinical Investigator Award, and an ACS Institutional grant in the fields of transcriptional regulation. This background in basic science informed her efforts in clinical trial development. She has developed and led multiple investigator-initiated trials in prostate cancer, kidney cancer and melanoma, and has been the principal investigator of many industry and cooperative group-sponsored trials in genitourinary malignancies. In addition, Naomi is the co-chair of the ECOG/ACRIN GU committee, a member of the NCI GU cancer steering committee and the co-leader of the Cancer Therapeutics Program at the Abramson Cancer Center.
