Theresa Pineda BSN, RN, CWOCN

Theresa Pineda is a Board-Certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse with over 18 years of experience in this challenging field. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1981. She currently works at Advent Health in Orlando, FL, with a unique opportunity to care for patients in both acute care and outpatient clinic settings. With over 33 years at Advent Health, she has worked in various rewarding roles: home care wound program manager, clinical preceptor for WebWoc, and Emory University Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing program. In her position in the Outpatient Ostomy Clinic she has educated and supported hundreds of new and established Ostomates. She is passionate about teaching her ostomy patients and supporting them to live their best lives. She is recognized as a clinical expert in WOC nursing by her peers and is a Daisy Award recipient for extraordinary nursing care.
