Kathryn Dere MSN, RN, CWOCN

Kathryn Dere has been a registered nurse for 42 years. She started her career in the critical care setting, and for the last 27 years has been employed as a certified wound ostomy continence nurse in the acute care setting. She is active in the SUNA and Wound Ostomy Continence organizations at the local and regional levels. She has been a chair member and committee member for annual conferences at both local and regional levels. She has served on various boards throughout her career for the state and regional Wound Ostomy Continence organizations. During the 2021 Annual Southeast Regional WOCN conference, Kathryn was presented with the Florida State Wound Ostomy Continence Recognition Award. Most recently, she was a founding member for the Greater Orlando Metro SUNA Chapter and served as board secretary. She has presented both locally and nationally, and this is her second year presenting at SUNA.
