Robert Caleb Kovell MD

Dr. R. Caleb Kovell serves on the urology faculty at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. He is the division’s associate residency program director, director of urologic medical student education, and director of reconstructive and transitional urology. His clinical and research interests include urologic trauma, reconstruction and prosthetics, transitional urology, penile and urethral cancer, and men’s health. He has helped build multiple, ongoing urologic global health outreach projects and has a strong interest in urologic education. Dr. Kovell received his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He subsequently completed his urology residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System and a fellowship in genitourinary reconstruction and prosthetic surgery at Wake Forest University.
