Dr. Trevor Royce is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology for the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, School of Medicine. He is a clinically active academic radiation oncologist specializing in genitourinary malignancies (e.g. prostate and bladder cancer). He attended the University of Virginia and has a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, and then attended medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His residency was at the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program in Boston, Massachusetts, where he finished as chief resident. His professional interests include health services research with a special interest in comparative/cost effectiveness, the cost of care, health policy, and the physician workforce. These interests led him to obtain an MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health.
