Dr. Gaurav Khatri is an associate professor in the department of radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He is associate division chief of abdominal imaging, and interim division chief of Body MRI. He was the founder and inaugural chair of the Pelvic Floor Dysfunction disease focus panel at the Society of Abdominal Radiology and has given multiple lectures on imaging of the pelvic floor at national and international radiology conferences. He is currently vice-chair of the American College of Radiology Imaging Appropriateness Criteria on Urologic Imaging and is first author of the ACR appropriateness criteria on pelvic floor dysfunction in women. He has authored multiple review and scientific papers in the field of pelvic floor imaging. Dr. Khatri earned his medical degree at University of Alabama School of Medicine and performed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He then received advanced training in abdominal imaging and magnetic resonance imaging through a fellowship program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital Fienberg School of Medicine in Chicago. His clinical interests include pelvic floor dysfunction, inflammatory bowel disease, and cancers of the liver, pancreas, and rectum.
