Dr. Ann Ashley-Gilbert is a pioneer in Women’s Health in Central Florida. She completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Martin Luther King Jr General Hospital, Los Angeles California. In 1980, she moved to Orlando, Florida to serve as a Lt. JG in the United States Public Health Service providing Obstetrical and Gynecologic care for migrant women in Central Florida. She delivered the first Baby at Florida Hospital Altamonte in 1987. Dr. Ashley-Gilbert is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She serves on the Orlando Metro Unit of the American Cancer Society.
She has published numerous articles in the Godly Business Women magazine. Her interest is in abnormal pap smears and she is published in the OB-GYN Management, Supplement 1991:
-Advances in Management of Genital Warts. She was honored as a Woman on the Move, Onyx Magazine March 2019. In 2018, Dr. AG was the recipient of the Alfred R. Bookhardt Orange County Health Equity Award.
