Calyceal diverticulum is a urine filled cavity connected to the renal calyx or the renal pelvis by a narrowed opening. This opening results in reflux that can result in hematuria, urinary tract infections and stone formations. Although not a common condition, it can present an interesting diagnostic challenge to the APN. The focus of this session is on differential diagnosis, diagnostic evaluation and treatment options. Two recent case studies are presented.
