Dr. Susanne A. Quallich has been working as a nurse practitioner since 1996. Her career has focused on improving the care of men by focusing on raising awareness of men's sexual and reproductive health needs, and emphasizing preconception fertility care for men. She has been engaged in clinically-based research that quickly translates to improvements in their care. Additionally, Dr. Quallich has been instrumental in heightening awareness of these issues among nurse practitioners through her substantial contributions in teaching and scholarship in men's sexual reproductive health, including editing books targeted to NPs in urology and men's health. Dr. Quallich is the editor for Urologic Nursing, SUNA's society peer-reviewed journal. She has also pushed to document and expand the specialty role of NPs in urology and is a frequent consultant to the American Urological Association. She serves as adjunct faculty and clinical preceptor for the University of Michigan School of Nursing, and precepts for the University of Michigan Health Science Scholars program.
