Neurogenic bladder and neurogenic bowel occur in patients who have congenital anomalies, tumors of the CNS, spinal cord injuries, stroke, and diseases of the CNS. We review etiology, diagnosis, and treatments for both neurogenic bladder and bowel in these complex patients from gestation to gerontology.
