251 - Tricks of the Trade: Manuscript Reviewing and Writing

Oct 30, 2021 1:30pm ‐ Oct 30, 2021 2:30pm

Our focus on patient care makes the nursing voice and experience vitally important in the rapidly changing world of evidence-based practice. Dissemination of specialty knowledge via publication and review, and our ability to communicate our specialty urology nursing knowledge, is vital to maintaining urology nursing as a recognized specialty and acting as advocates for our patients. Nurses serve in many roles, but these roles will remain invisible unless we take steps to document the value and challenges of our unique roles. This presentation takes you “behind the curtain” and introduces the process of writing and reviewing manuscripts.
