Multichannel urodynamic testing is highly operator dependent and can be complex. The purpose of this workshop is to aid the urologic clinician performing multichannel urodynamic testing including non-intubated uroflowmetry, filling cystometrogram, sphincter electromyography, urethral pressure profilometry, and voiding pressure flow test. Emphasis placed on a step-wise approach to testing, including quality control measures to ensure safety during testing and production of valid and reproducible findings. The workshop is designed for clinicians with limited to extensive experience with urodynamic testing; it is not designed for clinicians who have never performed urodynamics.

Learning Outcome: After completing this education activity, the learner will be able to employ quality control measures including zeroing transducers with reference to atmosphere and establishing a reference level for pressure measurements, completing a test cough, differentiating abdominal versus detrusor events, and differentiating technical from physiologic artifacts.
