After decades without significant advances in bladder cancer treatment, numerous new agents that help to reactivate the patient’s own antitumor response have been approved. This presentation covers bladder cancer from NMIBC, MIBC to metastatic bladder cancer incorporating intravesical treatments, new therapies, relevant guidelines and evidence-based therapies. It is important to understand the pathophysiology of bladder cancer, long-term sequalae, and the rationale for the various therapies.
