Description

New A.N.S.I. Guidelines have recently been published that give direction to all facilities regarding laser safety. A basic understanding of laser mechanics is an essential foundation for building an effective laser safety policy. Gaining a better understanding of the biophysics of lasers, medical applications for laser usage and the hazards associated with lasers will insure safety of patients and medical staff during laser procedures.
