321 - Small Renal Tumors: Active Surveillance or Surgical Removal?

Oct 5, 2009 12:45pm ‐ Oct 5, 2009 1:45pm

Standard: $30.00

The treatment of small renal tumors continues to be controversial. Should we simply monitor them with radiographic imaging? If so; what type of imaging should we use to follow these tumors? Should they be surgically removed? This session discusses answers to these questions. Information will cover renal tumors; types of kidney cancer; and treatment options including laparoscopic; robotic and open approaches to surgical removal. Advantages and disadvantages of watchful waiting are also discussed.
