Urinary tract infections UTIs are the most common bacterial infections; accounting for nearly seven million office visits and one million emergency department visits annually; at a cost of over one billion dollars. Almost half of all women will experience one UTI during their lifetime. This case presentation based lecture is an updated literature review of best practices for female UTI management.

Excellent review. As a urology NP, I would have appreciated going into further depth as a Urology Clinic of what the course of workup should be. I.E Ct without contrast to check for stones, cystoscopy to view chronic cystitis, I.C., other pathology etc.
