Urology practitioners need to be proactive in the evaluation and management of bone health in our prostate cancer patients on ADT, metastatic prostate cancer, and hypogonadism. A review of the pathophysiology of osteoporosis relating to ADT, hypogonadism and bone metastastes, national guidelines are discussed, appropriate screening with DXA scans or bone scans, interpretation of DXA scans, preventative health measures, exercise, and medications used to treat osteoporosis, osteopenia, and bone metastases are presented.

Incontinence in the adult male differs significantly from the issues faced by adult women. In men, urge incontinence is the most common form of incontinence, and stress incontinence is associated with prostate surgery. There is a discussion on diagnosis and management of urinary incontinence in adult men, focusing on behavioral, pharmacologic, and newer options in neuromodulation.

Fatigue is an often ignored or undertreated complication of prostate cancer. Most, if not all, patients have received some form of therapy that will severely diminish testosterone, resulting in the presence of fatigue. With this complication comes loss of energy, muscle mass, and increased risk for bone injuries and/or other comorbidities. This lecture investigates available treatment options from a medical and holistic approach in the treatment of fatigue in prostate cancer survivors.
