Are you planning to seek certification in the urologic specialty? If so, this course is designed as a study session to prepare participants for the urology certification exam. This is an adjunct to preparing for the exam in addition to utilizing the detailed Examination Preparation Guide prepared by CBUNA. The course reviews urinary tract inflammations, voiding dysfunction, obstructive uropathies, male infertility, sexual dysfunction and urologic cancers. Participants are also given some test taking strategies.

Requirements for Successful Completion:

Complete the learning activity in its entirety and complete the online nursing continuing professional development evaluation. You will be able to print your NCPD certificate at any time after you complete the evaluation.

This session includes information pertaining to the demographics and risk factors for penile cancer, initial evaluations of penile lesions, and clinical and radiographic staging. There is discussion as to when to refer a patient to oncology and the management of penile cancer stage-by-stage. Casse studies are provided.
