Todd Thompson is a master’s prepared nurse from Tucson, AZ, where he currently works for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a nurse with the Home-Based Primary Care Program that manages medically complex patients in the community. He initially became interested in long-term urinary catheter management when he was unable to find adequate information and resources on how to manage patients with problems associated with long-term urinary catheters. Todd has been a nurse for over 25 years and started off as a nurse with the U.S. Army and has worked in various fields to include critical care, trauma, disaster assistance, community health, mental health, and transitional care.
