Austin Street MD, FASA

Dr. Austin Street is an assistant professor of anesthesiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. His main academic interests are in Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols and improving patient safety/outcomes. He has given lectures focused on surgical safety and Enhanced Recovery. He has served in various areas including president of the Dallas County Anesthesiology Society for 2019, on various Dallas County Medical Society committees, Texas Society of Anesthesiologists (TSA) as a member of the house of delegates, as well as serving on the economics committee, the key contacts committee, and being on the advisory board of the governmental affairs committee. He was proud to be named as a TSA alternate delegate to the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and was honored to be recognized as a fellow of the ASA (FASA) in 2018.
