David D. Rahn MD, FACOG

Dr. David Rahn is a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He joined their Division of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery after completing a urogynecology fellowship in Dallas in 2008. His clinical practice is divided between the university and Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he is active in the education and training of residents and fellows. Dr. Rahn is also active in the leadership of two national gynecologic surgery societies; he was the Research Committee Chair for the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons from 2016-2019, and he is now a board member at large for the American Urogynecologic Society. Dr. Rahn is an active researcher having published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles and 10 textbook chapter, and he is the principal investigator on two NIH-funded multi-center research trial networks.
