Jeff A. Albaugh PhD, APRN-BC, CUCNS

Dr. Albaugh is a board-certified Advanced Practice Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Jesse Brown Veterans Administration Hospital. He also previously worked at NorthShore University/Endeavor Health System & at Northwestern Memorial. He specializes in treating men and women with sexual dysfunction, as well as helping men improve quality of life after prostate cancer treatment in terms of erectile function and continence. Jeff completed his PhD in research at the University of Illinois in Chicago and has conducted and published multiple funded research studies. He is an internationally recognized speaker and expert who has published many articles and book chapters as well as the 2nd edition of his book entitled “Reclaiming Sex & Intimacy after Prostate Cancer Treatment: 2nd Edition”. Dr. Albaugh has received multiple awards including Northwestern’s One of Our Finest Awards and two awards for outstanding nursing care. He also received the Edward C. Kaps Hope Award for his outstanding contributions to the prostate cancer community and both President’s Trophies from SUNA for outstanding contribution to both urology and to SUNA.
