Type 2 diabetes can have a deleterious effect on the body, particularly affecting the urological system. Men with T2DM often have co-morbid subnormal free testosterone that contributes to hypogonadism, which often results in urological issues such as erectile dysfunction and hypogonadism itself. Learn how and why androgen replacement therapy has an effect in helping control and improve glycemic control.
