‐ Sep 29, 2022 10:45am

Credits: None available.

Although urinary catheters are part of every urology nurse's practice, they are rarely the focus of training. This program educates urologic nurses in understanding how urinary catheters function, how they interact with the body, as well as troubleshooting common urinary catheterization complications. Special emphasis is placed on managing common (and not so common) complications due to long-term urinary catheterizations. The education and management of patients performing intermittent catheterizations is also covered.
