271 - Congenital Anomalies of the Female Genitourinary Tract - Update on Treatment of Disorders of Sex Development (DSD) and Their Impact on Sexuality and Fertility

Issues affecting sexuality can begin as early as embryonic life. DSD can greatly impact both sexuality and fertility. A review of medical management and possible surgical interventions in patients with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser Syndrome (MRKHS), complete androgen insensitivity syndrome (CAIS) and congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) are presented. There have been significant advancements in the management of these patients. These are complex adolescent girls and young adults requiring provider support and understanding.
