340 - Adherence to Treatment of Urologic Disease: Why People Don’t Take Medications and How to Improve Outcomes

Providers and nurses spend a lot of time helping patients find the right treatment for their urologic conditions, but the benefits of effective treatments can only be successful if patients are willing to take and adhere to a treatment plan. Adherence to urologic treatment is poor and this ultimately impacts the ability to improve urologic health. Challenges with adherence to urology treatments and how to improve treatment outcomes are the focus of this session.
