212 - Sharing Nursing Practice Internationally: A UK Experience. Setting Up a Nurse Led Outpatient Service for the Administration of Intradetrusor Botulinum Toxin Type A

British Association of Urological Nurses (BAUN) members now regularly undertake diagnostic flexible cystoscopies, ureteric stent removal, biopsy, and laser ablation. Nurses also are performing intradetrusor botulinum toxin A injections using a flexible cystoscope. The presenter will share the “Salford experience” of setting up a nurse led clinic. The session will describe the rationale, stages, and key considerations necessary to set up the service and share the findings of the Patient Satisfaction Audit following implementation.
