Presented in this lecture is the discussion of how and when to transition patients from pediatric to the transition clinic. We discuss the protocol for managing the post-reconstruction patients need to maintain and/or improve quality of life. We describe how we have safely incorporated procedures such as in-office surveillance cystoscopy, channel evaluation and dilation, and stone removal into the clinic day. Lastly, identification and management of routine medical management and problems found during procedures are discussed.
