Sacral neuromodulation has been successfully used for adults for many years and we're now seeing tremendous success in the pediatric population. This lecture looks at identifying the appropriate patient population and evaluation protocol. The conventional management of these refractory patients are reviewed. Education of these families and patients is critical to the success of this program. The test phase protocol and device placement procedure are shared with the audience. Follow-up and treatment of post-op challenges are discussed.
