331 - Evidence-Based Preparation for Prostate Biopsy: UK Perspective

Presenters will discuss the evidence-base for preparing the patient in terms of antibiotic prophylaxis, analgesia, cleansing enema, bowel preparation and the evidence for the equipment (disposables) required. The European Guidelines will be incorporated giving an alternative view to the recent AUA white paper. A recently reported study discussing UK complications and the management of such complications will be discussed.
