This presentation sets a foundation for understanding of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) concepts and pathways. Discussion of the central tenets of ERAS programs and demonstrating the supporting data for this movement. After establishing basic knowledge, we expand those ideas to urologic specific procedures.
