The benefits of an inpatient advanced practice provider (APP) is discussed and participants identify direct and indirect impacts on patient care. How the APP role can reduce physician burnout while increasing physician and APP compensation and productivity is presented to help provide the APP with autonomy and workplace satisfaction.
