Serving as a medical expert witness can be an enriching, challenging, and rewarding professional experience. A nurse’s decision to serve as an expert witness should be an informed and deliberative process. This presentation discusses numerous important issues and critical information that a prospective nurse-expert/consultant should be mindful of and take into consideration as a part of that decision-making process.
