The focus of this session is on the potentional postoperative issues that can occur after surgery for pelvic organ prolapse, with special attention to the role of the advanced practive provider in management and patient education. Each speaker gives a brief presentation on a topic of interest (e.g., management of postoperative pain or
constipation).

Complete the learning activity in its entirety and complete the online CNE evaluation. You will be able to print your CNE certificate at any time after you complete the evaluation.

At the conclusion of the activity, the learner will be able to describe what happens during the general post-operative course of prolapse repair patients and be able to recognize the signs of possible complications after prolapse surgery.
