William Falone is a board-certified wound/ostomy nurse specialist for Pennsylvania Hospital, the first hospital in the country and part of the Penn Medicine system in Philadelphia, PA. He has been a nurse for 25 years and a wound/ostomy specialist for 22 years. Bill has been a clinical preceptor for nurses in the WOC program for 18 years. He has practiced his ostomy specialty in several different settings that include acute, outpatient, skilled, and industry environments. Bill is the President of the Northeast Region of the national Wound, Ostomy, Continence Society; one of eight regions in the country.
