
Tammy Clamann BSN, RN, LEND, FAUNA
Tammy started as a nurse in Physical Rehabilitation with Sheltering Arms Physical Rehabilitation Hospital in 1990, and achieved her CRRN in 1992. In 1997, she moved to a Virginia Urology specialty clinic and moved with the pediatric subspecialty group to help form Children’s Urology of Virginia in 2006. She returned to adult female urologic nursing in 2012 with Virginia Women’s Center as the Urologic Procedures Nurse. She completed a post-Baccalaureate degree in Leadership Education and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities in 2017 at Virginia Commonwealth University. In November of 2024, Tammy began as the Assistant Clinical Manager for the Pelvic Health Department of Virginia Commonwealth University. Tammy is currently enrolled at Western Governors University, studying for her MSN in Nursing Education with her final term to go. In addition to working and graduate school, Tammy enjoys living in Midlothian with her husband and multiple pets. She is the current President of the Virginia Chapter of the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates. She served on the SUNA National Board from 2020-2022 as a Director at Large. Tammy also co-leads the Asperger’s and Neurodiversity Support and Information group of RVA. She has two grown children and enjoys gardening, hiking, and kayaking
