Dr. Steven Sterious is a professor at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. He attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College, which is now Sidney Kimmel Medical School, from 2004-2008. He completed his urology residency at Temple Urology Program from 2008-2014. Dr. Sterious worked at Einstein Healthcare Network from August 2014 to June 2022 as core faculty for their residency program. He specializes in robotic and laparoscopic surgery with a focus on benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and his practice specializes in medical and surgical management of BPH. Dr. Sterious is the first urologist in Pennsylvania to perform Aquablation, which is a new robotic-guided water ablative technology that was FDA approved in 2017. His entire career has been spent in academic medicine, training residents so they can be the next generation of urologists.
