Kelly Kruse is owner of UroGyn Consultations, an independent nursing consultation practice specific to the management of urinary incontinence, pelvic floor health and gynecologic care. She has received Distinguished Faculty recognition from the National Collaborative for Stress Urinary Incontinence and Women's Health and is a member of the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates where she currently chairs the Task Force charged with developing the Scope and Standard of Practice of the Advanced Practice Continence Nurse in Long Term Care. She received her Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Colorado in 1986 and her Masters of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing in 1995. She currently serves as Clinical Associate Professor in the UW Graduate School of Nursing where she teaches in the nurse practitioner programs. Her practice background in public and community health, internal medicine and women's health led to a specialization in continence management. Kelly currently serves as continence consultant for several LTC facilities in the Madison and Southwest Wisconsin area.
