Jennifer Wimberly MD

Dr. Jennifer Wimberly is a board-certified urologist and certified health care ethics consultant. She completed her medical education and urology training at Georgetown University and recently completed her Masters of Arts in Bioethics at Medical College of Wisconsin with her thesis focusing on improving care to transgender individuals. She currently serves as a transgender provider, co-chair of the Institutional Ethics committee, physician leader of Schwartz Rounds and co-chair of the Joy @ Work committee at Parkland Health and Hospital System. Her roles focus on clinical ethics education and consultation, transgender health care and ethics, and organizational factors to increase joy and combat burnout in health care providers.
