This session provides a fast-paced overview of management of urinary calculi. The primary focus is on medical management of stones: understanding stone analysis, interpretation of 24- hour urine testing and related serum results, and assisting patients with prevention through diet and pharmacologic intervention. Discussion also includes risk factors for stone formation, assessment and triaging of symptomatic patients, and a brief overview of surgical management.
