The focus of this session is on the presentation and management of various lower urinary tract and genitalia injuries sustained during perineal and pelvic trauma. Urologic implications depending on mechanism of injury (blunt versus penetrating), presenting signs and symptoms (immediate versus delayed), evaluation and management, as well long-term impact of these injuries are discussed.
