Amy E. Krambeck MD

Dr. Krambeck is a Senior Associate Consultant at Mayo Clinic Rochester in the Department of Urology and Assistant Professor at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, specializing in the treatment of urolithiasis and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Dr. Krambeck received a Bachelors of Science in biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1998 and medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002. Her Urology residency training at Mayo Clinic Rochester was completed in 2008, and in 2009 she completed an endourology fellowship with Dr. James Lingeman at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, where she focused on advanced endourologic techniques including Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate and percutaneous renal access. She has a special interest in the metabolic evaluation and treatment of kidney stone disease. Her research interests include the epidemiology and pathogenesis of stone disease and she is currently participating in a 5 year National Institute of Health Study assess renal stone precursor lesions.
